Dual Gear Delayed To 2018

The development cycle of a game can be a long and arduous process, and every now and again there's gonna be a bump in the road. For smaller studios these little bumps can cause all sorts of issues that lead to delays.

Dual Gear Delayed To 2018
Dual Gear is a tactical action mech turn-based game that is about as Japanese as a game could get, despite it being from Taiwanese indie developer, Orbital Speed Studio. After being crowd funded through IndieGoGo back in 2016, Dual Gear was aiming for a 2017 release date, but recent development complications have lead to it being pushed back to a potential 2018.

In 2016 the pre-alpha version of Dual Gear was released on PC and eventually evolved into the closed alpha version that is currently in use by testers and critics. After Orbital Speed Studio received their feedback from the testers, it was decided that more time was needed to build upon their game and make improvements – thus the delayed release.

Dual Gear Customization
The release quarter of Dual Gear is yet to be confirmed, but Orbital Speed Studio is taking Dual Gear to Kyoto Indie Festival this year and other events as well so expect to hear a lot from this game as time progresses.
