Dolmen Makes Second Attempt At Crowdfunding

Dolmen is a sci-fi RPG title that has strong following. Those aware of Dolmen, speak highly of its prospects for success. It sure has everything an RPG fan would expect in a game from character customisation to crafting. Sadly, Dolmen’s Kickstarter campaign came to a close and the target was not hit. This has not been enough to knock developer, Massive Work Studio off their perch. So, what’s next?

Dolmen Makes Second Attempt At Crowdfunding

Massive Work Studio are not giving up on the crowdfunding front and have now set up a page at Crytivo to further the cause. This is a site similar to Kickstarter that will allow the team to gain a little more revenue to further the cause. A Massive Work Studio spokesman has also commented on their Crytivo page, stating “We're working on a plan "B" with publishers and a possible second run on Kickstarter.”

While it is clear from the community surrounding Dolmen, there is a desire for the game’s development to reach completion. The only question now is whether that desire is coming from a large enough pool of fans to keep the project afloat. So if you like what you see, be sure to check out Dolmen’s Crytivo page and pledge your support. You can also learn more about the dark fantasy sci-fi on our official Dolmen page.

For the uninitiated, Dolmen is a dark sci-fi RPG shrouded in mystery. The player will find themselves alone and stranded in a hostile alien environment. They will need to learn how to survive this environment in the search for answers about how to get home. All the hallmarks of a great RPG can be found here, including a crafting and weapon / armour customisation system. Players will also be able to level up their character in any way they choose, opting for a stronger focus on the playstyle of their choice. Dolmen’s combat design is equally focused on both melee combat and over-the-shoulder ranged combat that will demand patience and understanding.
