Nintendo and Disney have partnered up to release a Disney Tsum Tsum-themed console. The special edition hardware will be bundled with Disney Tsum Tsum Festival, which is set to release in Japan on October 10, 2019.
The new console is paired with purple and pink joy-cons. To give it some uniqueness, the home button on the right joy-con has been turned into a Mickey Mouse logo. The console’s dock also features the Tsum Tsum logo, as well as Disney characters Stitch, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Winnie the Pooh. The Switch has been reported to be the updated model that includes longer battery life.
Currently, there is no word on if the console will be making its way to the west. As of now, it will be released only in Japan.
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival still does not have a release date for the rest of the world, but it is slotted to come out sometime this year. It is likely to come soon after the release in Japan.
The Tsum Tsum bundle will cost 36,090 yen and is currently available for pre-order. It includes the console, a physical copy of the game, and special in-game outfits.
