In the announcement, Disney has promised further updates on upcoming and released games including Marvel’s Midnight suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. They have also teased a sneak peek from former Uncharted creative director Amy Hennig’s studio, Skydance New Media on their upcoming Marvel ensemble game.
Studios attending the showcase are Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games and 20th Century Games. It’s unknown if other already announced games are featured beyond the four games above. However, there are more games based on Disney-owned properties in the works. These include Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spiderman 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine, Bethesda’s untitled Indiana Jones game and the numerous Star Wars games coming from studios Ubisoft, Respawn Entertainment, Aspyr and Quantic Dream.
The Disney and Marvel games showcase will stream simultaneously online, allowing everyone attending the expo and fans at home access. The stream will be available on the expo’s YouTube and social media channels alongside the Disney and Marvel main channels at 1 PM Pacific / 4 PM Eastern / 9 PM UK (and 6 AM on September 10 AEST).
