Digital Dragons is an annual conference which has been celebrating the Polish games industry since 2012. Event organisers and hosts, Kraków Technology Park have been a prominent force in the gaming sector for 25 years, with multiple projects dedicated to the development and distribution of video games. Digital Dragons 2023 is set to take place 15th-16th May.
Hosted in the center of Kraków, the success of Digital Dragons has grown alongside the success of games developed in Poland, from studios such as Bloober Team, CD Projekt RED, and Flying Wild Hog. Last year the conference attracted over 2000 attendees and higher numbers are predicted for Digital Dragons 2023.
The conference has a range of networking opportunities. This includes lectures from experienced industry names, an indie games showcase and the prestigious awards ceremony. Last year, Bloober Team’s The Medium took the golden dragon egg in three of the categories; Best Polish Game, Best Polish Game Design and Best Polish Original Game Soundtrack.
