The Star Wars Battlefront game from developer DICE that was released back in 2015 was considered quite a controversial inclusion to the Battlefront franchise, fans of the previous games found that the 2015 release was light on content and was missing several features and game modes that made Battlefront 2 one of, if not THE, best Star Wars games of all time.
With Star Wars Battlefront 2 set to release November this year, DICE is eager to put anyone's doubts about Battlefront 2 to rest. In an interview with PlayStation LifeStyle, DICE,s Creative Director, Bernd Diemer, had this to say:
"On the gameplay side, we said, 'Okay, we have the core gameplay…we’ve got it nailed.' There are things we need to improve and we want to build on, but the main thing we wanted to add was depth. Give more reasons to stick around, try out different heroes, try out different trooper types, and that’s why we introduced classes. There’s a little bit more variety in the team-play, not everybody is the same, and you can now form your own squad if that is your thing."
With the return of the class system plus the introduction of all eras old and new, bringing with them all the heroes, villains, maps, vehicles and so much more, it seems that Battlefront 2 may be the Battlefront game that fans have been waiting for since 2005.

There is one thing that will decide whether I buy the game or not. That is if they have added galactic conquest back into the game.
I still go back to the original battlefront 2 game to play galactic conquest as it is so fun.
