DC Zooms Out its First The Flash Trailer

DC and Warner Bros. have released the first-ever trailer for The Flash. Even though the film still stars the problematic Ezra Miller, the trailer does a lot to make people want to watch the movie. The reason many people are excited to see the film is to see the return of Michael Keaton as Batman. He’s not the only Batman actor in the movie because Ben Affleck returns as his own version of the Caped Crusader too.

Aside from these actors, making a return to the DC universe is Michael Shannon playing the role of General Zod. Instead of squaring up against Henry Cavill’s Superman, The Flash will see the debut of Supergirl in the DCU played by Sasha Calle.

You can view the trailer and read the official synopsis posted down below.

The Flash Synopsis and Trailer

Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash will be released in North America on June 16th, 2023. It is set to reset the DC universe to make way for newer characters to appear in James Gunn’s vision of the franchise.
