Days of Play Promotion Has Boosted Sales of PS4 Exclusives in the UK ChartsBoth Marvel’s Spider-Man and Days Gone have seen boosted sales in the UK in the past week, likely due to PlayStation’s Days of Play promotion event. Marvel’s Spider-Man sees itself at number ten, despite coming out two years ago, with Days Gone the eleventh-best selling game of the week. The Last of Us Remastered comes in at eight, with a likely influx of players playing the game before the sequel’s release in a couple of weeks.

Nintendo has also had a very good week, with four titles making the top ten: Ring Fit Adventure, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Games—that released this week. EA’s FIFA 20 tops the sales for the week. The popular sports game has been in the Top 10 since release in the UK and a heavy price drop in the last week below £25 has likely influenced this, as well as fans trying to get their football fix whilst we await its welcome return in a few weeks.

The ever-present Grand Theft Auto V is in fifth for the week with Rockstar continuing to update the online mode a staggering seven years after release.

Here is the GfK Top Ten for the week ending on June 6th:

  1. FIFA 20
  2. Ring Fit Adventure
  3. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  4. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
