Dark Souls: Remastered is making its way onto Nintendo Switch, and a brand new amiibo alongside it! For those who wish to "Praise the Sun" at any time, anywhere with ease, Bandai Namco is releasing an amiibo figure of Solaire of Astora, proudly "praising the Sun" in all of his glory.
Dark Souls: Remastered is, as you might guess, a remastering of the original 2011 game directly inspired by Demon's Souls, that went on to have two sequels and inspire the 2015 PS4 exclusive, Bloodborne.
Before launch, players on Switch can participate in a free "network test," in which you can play a part of the game. There is currently no word on when this is taking place, so stay tuned.
Dark Souls: Remastered is releasing simultaneously on Switch, PS4, XB1, and PC on May 25th, 2018, with the amiibo releasing on the same day. Use of the amiibo is exclusive to the version on Switch.
