A new Netflix Series is in production for the Castlevania franchise. Castlevania Season 4 ended on quite a content note, seemingly concluding the arcs for Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades, while Alucard’s also closed on a positive remark. Fans immediately speculated on the rumours of a spinoff series, hoping it would be focused on Trevor and Sypha’s child.
Although it won’t be exactly what fans wished for, it looks like we definitely will be getting a new Castlevania series.

Castlevania: Nocturne, a new Netflix series, will focus on Richter Belmont—a descendent of Sypha and Trevor from the original Castlevania anime series—and will take place during the French Revolution, drawing inspiration from the Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of Night video games.
Led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley, Castlevania: Nocturne is produced by Project 51 Productions, with Powerhouse Animation making its return once again.
No details on a tentative date—or how true this new Netflix series will stay to the games—have been released yet (while rumours mention 2023 and even 2024). One thing is for sure, though, we can’t wait to watch Castlevania: Nocturne and meet Richter Belmont!
