Camp-Cretaceous-Season-4-Official-Trailer-Not-Set-In-Isla-Sorna-CoverAfter a long wait fans finally got a Camp Cretaceous season 4 official trailer. It’s on the Jurassic World YouTube channel.

The trailer begins with the campers on their boat when they are suddenly attacked by the Mosasaurus. Next, they wake up on a beach among the ruins of the boat. So, the campers didn’t have control over where they landed. Many fans have speculated that Isla Sorna may be the setting of season 4. However, Scott Kreamer has put that to rest.

Scott Kreamer: I don’t want to get too spoilery, but it is not Isla Sorna and it is not one of The Five Deaths.

So, the campers find themselves on an island unknown to the Jurassic Park canon. Since they were on their way to Costa Rica at the end of season 3, it could be this new island is east of the Muertes Archipelago.

The trailer also shows drones corralling a badly wounded tyrannosaurus to a location where it fights a Kentrosaurus. It looks like whoever is controlling the drones is forcing dinosaurs to fight each other, but who is piloting the drone? There has been speculation that Mantah Corp is the antagonist organization of season 4, perhaps they are.

One very big question was surprisingly not addressed in this trailer: what kind of dinosaur is on the boat with the campers? At the end of season 3, the camera pans to a door leading below deck, then a growl is heard. It seems as if a dinosaur has stowed away on the boat. Fans have been making all kinds of guesses as to what dinosaur it could be. However, the Camp Cretaceous season 4 official trailer offers no answer.

Viewers will find out on December 3rd, 2021.
