All the best Call of Duty teams from North America and Europe will go head-to-head this weekend for the grand prize of $100,000 in one of the biggest World League competitions yet! Tune into live streams from the World League to support your favourite teams on their path to victory, or crushing defeat.

Call of Duty takes over Las Vegas this weekend for the first World League event of the new season, pitting the best teams against eachother in the battle for the grand prize of an eye-watering $100,000.

Some of the best teams in the Call of Duty eSports scene will collide today and tomorrow as part of MLG Vegas at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. Today is the beginning of pool play, with more than 160 expected teams making up the largest live Call of Duty open bracket ever seen. The top four open bracket teams will join Pool Play tomorrow, with the final teams competing for their share of the massive $100,000 prize pool of CWL Champion at MLG Vegas. 2016's CWL competition had more than 1000 teams entering for their shot at the glory of being the best Call of Duty team.

The CWL Championship is returning in 2017, with players able to compete for CWL Pro Points online via GameBattles and live events all around the globe. The best teams from Europe, APAC and North America will also be invited to join the first ever CWL Global Pro League event in April, setting the championships up for a star-studded year. Call of Duty World League is being presented by Playstation 4, and is partnered with the famous Major League Gaming as tournament operator and broadcast partner for the coming season.

This coming year of Call of Duty eSports will truly be one to watch, and definitely has the possibility to be the biggest and most successful CWL to date.
