One of the add-ons to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare that wasn't quite well-received by the players was the Gingerbread Exo Suit which the players disliked for being out of place in a futuristic first-person shooter.
Michael Condrey, the game director responded to one such fan on Twitter and said that the gingerbread Exo Suit was a special request from a gamer, a boy named Julian, dealing with a terminal illness through the Make-A-Wish foundation. The team at Activision added his name to the suit using icing.
.@CODINT3L The GBMan was designed by a Make-A-Wish gamer as his holiday AW gear set, w/ his name in icing. It was humbling, and an honor.
