PlayStation users will yet again be the first to try new Call of Duty content, as the newest game has a new mode coming. The new Black Ops Cold War zombies mode will be exclusive to PlayStation for a year. While players on other consoles will eventually be able to play the game mode, they’ll have to wait until November 2021. The mode’s official title is Zombie Onslaught, and it will make its debut on November 13. Moreover, PlayStation users can enjoy the mode in co-op with a partner.
Although we’ve recently seen a zombie-related change to Call of Duty Warzone with the “Haunting of Verdansk” event, Zombie Onslaught looks like it will be quite different. Players will face off against hordes of enemies for exclusive rewards, with special enemies to tackle as well. And, there’ll be a bunch of maps even at launch, as we got a glimpse in the trailer of cities, hangars and more. It’s also important to note that the new Zombie Onslaught mode is different for the more traditional Black Ops Cold War Zombies, which is available on all platforms. Xbox players will still be able to enjoy slaying the undead in the main mode.
