The new generation of consoles is finally here. But like an echo of the last generation, the game options at launch are slim. Sure there were some special editions or ported games from previous years but not that many new options or dedicated games. Clockstone Software and Headup are hoping to help fill the gap with their upcoming Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, coming to several platforms.
The platforms where you’ll be able to find the game are as follows: PlayStation 5 & 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One (The console version are cross-buy, which means if you purchase one on either the current or last gen, you’ll be able to play it in both. Perfect for those who don’t yet have a current gen console but are getting one for sure). You can also find it on Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. PC, Mac and Linux are not left behind either, since it can be found on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is exactly what it sounds like. It’s the known Bridge Constructor game set in the apocalyptic world of AMC’s The Walking Dead. You’ll have to help the survivors of the zombie apocalypse to survive by building the bridges and other structures and solving the puzzles in this mas-up of genres. Some of the well-known characters from the show will be in the game too such as Daryl and Michonne.
You’ll not only build bridges in this game, but also more elaborate constructions and traps and you also have to figure out the best way to help the survivors get rid of the walker, making them fall in the traps and solving the puzzles. If you are a fan of either the Bridge Constructor genre or The Walking Dead, this game may be right up your alley.
