Developer Pearl Abyss announced during its second Into the Abyss event that its popular open world action MMORPG, Black Desert (also known as Black Desert Online), will be arriving on PS4 later this year. The title will include remastered graphics and audio, an optimized UI, and 4K resolution support for PS4 Pro.
The company went on to share that Black Desert Mobile will release in North America and Europe sometime in 2019. The game is currently available for iOS and Android devices in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
The Xbox One version of Black Desert was revealed during Microsoft’s 2017 E3 press conference and launched for the system this past March. It currently has 20 million registered users across console, mobile, and PC platforms.
Curious MMORPG fans who pre-order Black Desert for PS4 on July 2 will be granted early access to the full game once it releases. Pearl Abyss has stated that it plans to disclose more information about this version in the near future.
In other E3 2019 news, Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom Eternal have finally received release dates, footage of Kingdom Hearts 3‘s DLC has been shared, and a new Halo Infinite trailer gives fans another look at Master Chief.
