Ubisoft has graced us with an in-engine gameplay demo that was shown behind closed doors at E3 2017. So anyone thinking that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was just smoke and mirrors consisting of only one cinematic trailer shown publicly – can now rest. This game is not Death's Stranding.
The footage showcases a 14-minute gameplay with creative director Michael Ancel playing it. The version shown is described as a tech demo with some gameplay elements of the final version of the game. The video showcases an impressive sense of scale, as Ancel seamlessly flies across the planet, goes into space and explains how the game follows the laws of the real universe and how planets and the story interconnect.
Ancel also gives promise of engaging the fans in the development of the game through the initiative called Space Monkey Program for which you can apply on the game's website.
