Bethesda Releases Starfield Animated Shorts

As part of the marketing for Starfield, Bethesda has released three anime-styled shorts as part of an “animated anthology”. Each short follows a protagonist in a different city and planet in Starfield, and from different walks of life. One story follows a courier pilot looking to move up the social ladder in the capital city, while another follows a thief who steals from the rich partygoers at the pleasure city Neon. You can view the shorts on Youtube or on Starfield’s official site for free.

The shorts gives viewers a feel for what the world of Starfield may be like, with its diverse characters and social organizations to interact with. Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios latest open-world RPG featuring non-linear gameplay and huge freedom of choice, similar to their previous games like Skyrim and Fallout 4. A 45-minute Gameplay Deep Dive shared in June shows a portion of players’ freedom in Starfield.
