Though still over a month away, Battle Chasers: Nightwar is having its cinematic, animated, opening shown off for your viewing pleasure. With art by Joe Madureria and animated by the studio behind the CastlevaniaNetflix series, the intro delivers on the exciting undead-killing action we're hoping to see in the game proper.
The intro serves two purposes: one to get people excited, and two to introduce a new character: Alumon. The final character shown off int he video, Alumon is described as:
…a "Devil Hunter" once from a sacred order of monster hunters. Banished from The Order, Alumon is a loner and operates as a bounty hunter, taking contracts and doing odd jobs for money, including exorcisms and assassination if the job calls for it (and sometimes even if it doesn’t).
Battle Chasers: Nightwar is being developed by Airship Syndicate, a new studio co-founded by ex-Vigil employees and Joe Madureria, the studio and artist behind Darksiders, respectively. The turn-based RPG is set to release on October 3rd on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam.
