Assassin’s Creed 3 Coming to the Nintendo Switch

It looks like Assassin's Creed 3 is making its way back to a Nintendo console. Check out this news report on what's happening with Assassin's Creed 3 and Liberation Remastered!

Assassin's Creed 3 Coming to the Nintendo Switch
When Assassin's Creed Odyssey released last year and had its season pass released Ubisoft announced that the series' third entry was being remastered. A practice that Ubisoft seems to be in favour of after releasing Far Cry 3 Classic Edition for the current generation consoles. That game was also a part of a season pass, specifically the Far Cry 5 season pass, releasing afterward as a standalone game. This seems to be the company's way of adding value to their season pass as well as paying tribute to the games that made them who they are today. While Assassin's Creed 3 was not the most critically acclaimed entry to the series it certainly has its fans and there is a good chance that the remaster will improve upon the originals shortcomings.

Assassin's Creed 3 Coming to the Nintendo Switch
A Czech retailer leaked the news that the remaster, along with Assassin's Creed Liberation, were coming to the Nintendo Switch. Releasing on February 15th with a price point of €35 (which is roughly $40). This news does not come as a massive shock as in this past year there have been a massive number of previous games appearing on the Switch. Recently we had Dark Souls Remastered and Skyrim Special Edition joining the console. Also given Assassin's Creed 3's previous place on Nintendo's Wii U back in 2012, it is nice to see the title return to the company's side. While we have not seen what the remaster will look like we now know that at the very least you can play it on the go.
