Apex Legends hits 25 million players since launch

It may have been out for only a week, but Apex Legends has reached a player count of over 25 million. Announced via EA's website, Respawn Entertainment's CEO Vince Zampella revealed that the free-to-play Battle-Royale shooter hit the milestone today and has had well over 2 million concurrent players over the weekend.

Along with this news, Zampella also mentioned that Apex Legends would be receiving various events that are coming in the next few weeks.

First will be the Twitch sponsored "Rivals Apex Legends Challenge," which will take place this Tuesday the 12th and again on the 19th. It will feature some of the most prominent streamers on Twitch. Shortly after, Apex will have a special Valentines Day event, where players will be able to get Limited-Edition Valentines Day loot. Finally, Zampella announced that the game's first season will kick off in March and will feature the debut of Apex Legend's Battle Pass, as well as new Legends, weapons, loot, and more.
