Apex Legends Announces Fight or Fright Halloween Event

Apex Legends has announced its Halloween Fight or Fright event is making a return. In this new Shadow Royale game mode, your departed teammates will rise from the dead as shadows. If all of the remaining alive teammates perish, then the whole team dies with them. Spooky Halloween cosmetics will be coming back as well. It will run from October 22nd to November 3rd.

Spooky season is upon us, and Respawn is bringing back a beloved event. Apex Legends announced this morning that their Fight or Fright event for Halloween will be returning. It was first created last year, being that Apex has only been out since February 2019.

Starting this Thursday, their Halloween event will begin. A new limited-time mode called Shadow Royale arrives as well, where teammates return after death as long as one champion remains alive. This alternate version of Kings Canyon is ruled by Revenant, one of the less heroic champions. The best part is that it all takes place after hours!

Shadows have different abilities, such as speed and wall running. If you kill the last remaining legend, all their shadow teammates die as well. This game mode seems like a unique change from the typical battle royale.

Not only that, but cosmetics from last year’s event will be returning as well. No need to worry about being stylish this year. There’ve been plenty of new legends released since the last Fight or Fright, so it’s highly likely we’ll see new cosmetics for Loba, Rampart, and more.

This event will go from October 22nd to November 3rd. Apex is a free game, so what better time to try it out than now?
