Allison Road Back in Development
When a game gets canceled mid-development, it's not often that it gets to come back and finally make it to market. Fortunately for fans of the unreleased survival horror title Allison Road, this is one of those rare exceptions to the rule. Allison Road creator and artist Chris Kesler announced that the game is once more in the development and will be published by Far From Home, a studio that Kesler and his wife founded.

Kesler made clear his happiness at the project's continuation, stating that he and his team "had a lot of support online and some folks out there are just incredibly nice". While not going into details about what had specifically caused Allison Road's cancellation, Kesler made clear that the process of continuing work on the game was not an easy one, saying:

"It did take a bit of soul searching to find the drive again to work on Allison Road and to simply make a call on what to do next. After the setback, I took a bit of a break from working on it and re-evaluated all the work that had been done so far — the whole journey, so to speak. I started making a few (in my opinion) necessary changes to the story and the flow, little bits and pieces here and there, and before I knew it, it sort of naturally came back to life.”

Prior to its cancellation, Allison Road was to be published by Team17. No information has been given on what lead to Team17's departure or why the game was canceled as a result.
