Abandon Ship takes players to the high seas with their own ship and crew in the search for riches and glory. The endeavour will not be a smooth one however, as you will be expected to fight off a multitude of enemies, including some legendary monsters of the sea.

The game will be showcased at the PC Gamer Weekender 2017 event in February, where developers Fireblade will show off some of the game's impressive core mechanics, including ship crew management, control of the ship, weapon systems, and how the environment and other gameplay effects will affect the ship and its weaponry.

With its procedurally-generated world and multitude of enemies, Abandon Ship could very well prove to be one of the best upcoming titles of early 2017, offering a wealth of content for those who take to the high seas. More can be found out about the game on its official website, and you can buy tickets to attend the PC Gamer Weekender 2017 here, which will feature appearances by many game developers including Fireblade, Microsoft, FailBetter Games and more.
