Techland, the developer for the widely successful Parkour zombie title Dying Light have made a pledge to their community. Even though Dying Light was released around two and a half years ago, the Polish developers have been keeping their community happy and busy with community challenges since its launch. So, more than two years later, you could be excused for thinking that it is time to move on to the next project.
Tymon Smektala, Producer of Dying Light, has released a video telling us that Techland still have big plans for the first-person zombie game. Smelktala tells us that at the initial release, there were around 700,000 people playing the game each week. Now, there are still around 500,000 people playing every single week.
With such a loyal community following the game for such a long time, Techland have decided it is about time that fans get a little more luck in their night. Smektala vows to bring us 10 new DLC offerings over the next year. We are told to expect “new challenging enemies, more in-game events, new mysteries to solve and much much more”.
Smektala tells us that we can expect new enemies in a soon to arrive content drop as a taste of what is to come.
All 10 DLC offering will be free to all players, on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
