Kojima Productions has officially announced that Death Stranding will make an appearance at Tokyo Game Show with approximately 80 minutes worth of content.
At the #DeathStranding Live Stages, for Sept 12th we will have about 50 mins of content, and for Sept 14th about 30 mins. For Sept 15th, members of the Japanese VO cast will be joining us, and our dear Hideo Kojima will be there too for all the stages! https://t.co/pVb97rZDJz

Spread across two days, Kojima Productions will show off material for the highly anticipated title, although it is not clear whether this “content” will be gameplay, new trailers, or a mixture of the two.
The most recent in-depth look at Death Stranding was during Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2019. Hideo Kojima joined the stage with Geoff Keighley to show us two character trailers as well as a small snippet of gameplay that featured a Geoff Keighley cameo.
Since Death Stranding was first announced, there has been a lack of clarity as to what the game’s plot contains. Josh West from Gamesradar posted a preview of the game last month which shed a lot of light on what players can expect. It is entirely possible that whatever was shown at Gamescom 2019 behind closed doors is what is scheduled to be shown to the rest of the world during TGS.
Regardless of how much new information is shared, Death Stranding is only a couple months away. The game is set to release on November 8, 2019 on Playstation 4.
Tokyo Game Show is set to run from September 12 to September 15, 2019. The video game expo includes several big names in the industry, so fans can expect a plethora of new game announcements and updates on upcoming releases.
