The Hyper X Cloud II is another very well known headset with a great reputation. While mostly known to be used on PC, the headset still works great on PS4 and Xbox One. It has a high quality mic and high quality surround sound. It's also a really cool looking headset. The headset is equipped with an audio control box making it easy to change volume levels. The microphone is also removable if you'd like to just use it for only sound.

4. Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50 for Xbox One, PS4 (US $39.99)

Turtle Beach was the first brand I ever used for gaming headsets. I used them for quite a while before moving on to try other headsets and was very happy with their quality. While I encountered a couple problems such as sound issues with the older models, the newer ones have definitely improved a lot. The Ear Force Recon is by far one of the best headsets for gamers with a low budget. It has very great quality sound and a mute cable with a volume mixer straight out the box. If you're looking for a headset without breaking your budget, this is definitely the one for you.

5. ASTRO A40 TR For Xbox One, PS4, PC (US $249.99)

Known to be one of the most legendary headsets used by many professional players in the eSports community, the Astro A40 TR(Tournament Ready) holds its reputation in being one of the best quality console gaming headsets of all time. This one is even better than past models as it allows you to customize it to your liking as much as possible. With removal pieces such as the microphone, speaker tags, and ear cushions, you can get your headset to look how you want it. If you plan on streaming on Twitch, this headset allows you to have party chat and game audio be heard through a capture card such as the Elgato HD60. The only real downside of the headset is the price is pretty high. However keep in mind this is a very high quality headset that is very durable and very comfortable to use. I personally use this headset for my PS4 gaming and haven't had a single problem with it.
