The recent release of New Pokemon Snap has turned the gaming community into a legion of photographers. The goal of getting the perfect photo for each Pokemon is tough, especially when trying to capture a photo worthy of a four star platinum rating. The Florio Nature Park is the first location you are able to explore in the game. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that it has some of the easiest four star platinum shots you can get. So without further ado, here’s my guide to snapping some easy four star platinum shots of Pokemon in Florio Nature Park (Day).
Emolga
To capture this photo of Emolga, you must first acquire the blue illumina orb. Early on in the course, you will encounter a blue crystabloom flower that will be placed on the left. If you throw a illumina orb at it, an Emolga will fly up and land on the ledge just above the flower.
It will be glowing a pretty blue colour and smiling and dancing around. Snap a photo of it up close and you’ll get your first four star platinum shot.
Heracross
After taking the photo of the Emolga, you then enter the next main section of the course. This is where all of the Swanna and Ducklett can be found in the water to the right. To be able to encounter Heracross, you will need to have run through the Florio Nature Park quite a few times and have reached Level 3 in your research. This will mean that the Bidoofs will have completed the dam they’ve been building in this area. If they have done this, you will be allowed to change your path. To do this you must use your scanner over the dam, and you’ll then be able to travel over it instead of the usual path.
The Heracross will first appear on the mini island in the water. If you throw an illumina orb at it however, it will then fly away to the land. After travelling around the dam you will then be back on the usual path. The Heracross will have landed just to the left of you afterwards. If you take a good photo of it while it is in this position, you will be rewarded with another platinum four star photo.
Pichu and Grookey
Pichu and Grookey run around the whole course, so there are lots of opportunities to photograph them. However, to snap a high rating four star platinum photo of each of them, you’ll have to wait until the end of the course. And what’s even better, you can snap virtually the same photo and get four star behavior for each of them.
You’ll need to be playing through the course at Level 2 research. When you get to the end of the course, you’ll find yourself in a field of flowers. There will be lots of Pokemon around so try not to get distracted by them. Just focus on Grookey and Pichu.
They’ll be running around the flowers together and will eventually end up on the left side of your camera. They’ll be playing around with each other, and if you throw an apple or play some music for them, you can get a unique reaction. There is also a crystabloom flower near their location, so if you want to add some blue glow to the photos to make them extra fancy, you can throw an illumina orb at it to light Grookey and Pichu up.
Zoom in on the pair when you’re nice and close to them and snap a few pictures. Make sure that when you take the photos, some of them have Pichu center of the camera and some of them have Grookey. This way when it comes around to Professor Mirror’s evaluation of them, they register as separate photo for each pokemon.
Bouffalant
Similar to Grookey and Pichu, there are lots of opportunities to take some great photos of Bouffalant. Again though, the way to get a four star platinum photo comes right at the end – in the same field of flowers as before, just as the course is about to end. In the flower field, the Bouffalants you see will have a unique design to them. On top of their mane will be a pretty ensemble of flowers. This in itself is already a unique photo.
But if you throw an illumina orb at the Bouffalant and follow this up with a bunch of apples, you’ll get an even better photo. In response, the Bouffalant will get up on its hind legs. Snap a clear photo of this pose in this setting and you’ve got a gorgeous photo of a Bouffalant and another platinum four star photo in Florio Nature Park.
Final Thoughts
Now you have the tools to take wonderful four star photos at Florio Park in New Pokemon Snap. While there are so many amazing photo opportunities throughout the stage, these are some of the ones that will get you the highest rated photos. Using the illumina orbs, apples and music can really create some unique and cool photos. So don’t forget to use them as much as possible!
