Katamari Damacy REROLL Cousins Guide

The Prince of All Cosmos has quite a few cousins. 23, in fact. With our guide, you can track down all of the cousins that appear after you complete the game.

Katamari Damacy REROLL. The Prince has quite the extended family.
After completing the final stage, the Prince’s many cousins can be found in the stages you’ve played. Each cousin counts as an object for the collection and are required to get 100% completion in the collection. Like the Royal Presents, some of them can be tricky to find, but this guide can help you get the family together.

Make a star 1: Marcy

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Marcy's a lot more colorful than she was in the original game. She had a patchwork purple coloring back then.
Marcy can be found right below the kotatsu on which you start the stage. The entrance to the kotatsu’s underside, where Marcy is roaming around, can be found on the floor opposite of the sleeping woman.

Make a star 2: Havana

Katamari Damacy REROLL. I bet 5,000 yen on the long-headed one!
Havana may be small, but he’s already joined the rat race. He’s rolling one of the oranges along with the other mice in the living room. He’s not hard to miss, and it’s likely that you could find him by accident.

Make a star 3: Jungle

Katamari Damacy REROLL. 'You are here' to the right, there he is to the left.
This is one of the trickiest cousins to find. At a certain time in the stage, Jungle appears from behind some partitions, travels up a ramp, and walks through a wall. His route starts near where you can find a bunch of ‘PET bottles.’ Assuming you skip past the King’s introduction chat, Jungle shows up when you have about 5 minutes and 30 seconds left.

Fun fact: In the original game, Jungle simply had a camo pattern. In future games (not counting this one) he had a fancy optical camo effect. In this game he’s just rainbow-colored, so the King’s comment about his camoflage may sound strange.

Make a star 4: Johnson

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Johnson's unlicensed pachinko parlor, seconds before it gets shut down.
Johnson looks a lot like the Prince, but his head is turned 90 degrees and his face is on one of the long ends. He can be found on top of the Takeda residence, along with a bunch of pachinko machines and some fancy fish statues. You’ll want to get to 1m before you go up there, both to grab the garden plants in the way and to grab Johnson himself.

Eternal 1: Nik

Katamari Damacy REROLL. C'mon, Nik! You're at someone else's house!
To unlock Eternal 1, you have to get a score of 1m30m in Make A Star 4. The Eternal stages are similar to the stage you play to unlock it, but you don’t have to worry about a time limit. Nik can be found in the kitchen, stuffing his face in the fridge. He’s pretty big (and not just in that way,) so you’ll have to get the katamari close to 1m to pick him up.

Make a star 5: Honey

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Nice day for a swim, isn't it, Honey?
Like Jungle, Honey is on the move and can’t be rolled up whenever you want. She’s floating along the two rivers in South Pidgeon Street. There’s the river directly to your right when you go down from North Pidgeon Street, and there’s the river near the central farm plots. You’ll have to keep checking back to them while you’re playing the stage.

Make a star 6: Nickel

Katamari Damacy REROLL. This salty air probably can't be good for Nickel's circuits.

Nickel, the Prince’s robotic cousin, can be found at a small concrete pier to the right of the school. Facing the ramp up to the school, head right into the small farm area and bear right. You should see the area where Nickel is roaming.

Make a star 7: Miso

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Uh oh. Miso's fallen in with a bad crowd.
Miso, the Prince’s soup bowl-headed cousin (complete with miso soup inside!) can be found right in the starting area. She’s riding on the back of a cow being ridden by one of the punks. You can either get up to about 3m16cm to get the cow, or you can try to bump the cow and quickly grab Miso while the cow isn’t moving.

Make a star 8: Shikao

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Shikao's a huge TV nut.
Shikao, the square-headed cousin, can be found in the roadway once you hit 1m50cm. He’s chasing after a pickup truck carrying a bunch of TVs in the back.

Fun fact: In the original version of Katamari Damacy, Shikao’s face was flat on the cube. Since then, his face has moved 45 degrees onto a corner, giving him peripheral vision. The King claims his happened so Shikao can watch scary movies out of the corner of his eye.

Eternal 2: June

Katamari Damacy REROLL. June is REALLY interested in that weather report.
Eternal 2 requires you to get 25m on Make A Star 8. June is in the exact same location as Shikao: chasing after a pickup truck carrying TVs.

Make a star 9: Velvet

Katamari Damacy REROLL. These teams are horribly mismatched. No way the soccer players can win!
Velvet is another easy-to-find cousin. She’s in the school yard participating in a match between soccer players and some kids to smack some watermelons open like a pinata.

Fun fact: In later games, Velvet gets a pair of legs. She actually has a pair of legs in the original games, but we only see her floating to hide the fact that she’s shorter than the other cousins.

Make Cancer: lalala

Katamari Damacy REROLL. It's not a bad place to live, since crabs don't really care about clothes.
Lalala, the nudist cousin, is hiding out in the doghouse just to the right as you exit the underside of the house. It’s hard to get in if you’ve picked up too much, so you want to grab her as soon as you can.

Fun fact: In the original game, Lalala had a peach skin color instead of the tan she has now. There’s also ambiguity on whether Lalala is male or female.

Make Cygnus: Odeko

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Dang it, Odeko! We were so close to making a "hanging around" joke!
Odeko, the Prince’s long-headed cousin, is standing on a hook in the porch celing’s rafters. There are a few ways to get there, but the easiest is to use a sofa as a ramp to get from the porch onto a sliding door that serves as a makeshift elevator. From there, Odeko should be right in front of you.

Make Corona Borealis: Peso

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Sorry, Peso. No sushi for you today.
Peso can be found in the Shopping Street area just outside of one of the stores. He’s by the opposite end from the one accessible from the ramp between North and South Pidgeon Street.

Fun fact: Peso comes with a crown that spawns right next to him. Because of this, it’s impossible to get 100% of the stage’s crowns before you beat the game.

Make Pisces: Marney

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Did someone lose their tennis ball in the lake?
Marney can be seen flying in circles around the lake. He’s pretty easy to spot, especially since you’ll be down in the lake a lot while looking for fish.

Make Gemini: Kuro

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Cousin Kuro commands his Sentai squad of kickboarding kids.
Kuro, whose name is Japanese for ‘black,’ can be found on the lake just outside of Seagull Park. The Sentai fan is riding on the kickboard of one of the kickboard quadruplets swimming around the lake.

…and foomin

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Those radishes look pretty weird, Mr. Farmer.
Somewhat fittingly for the stage themed around twins, Make Gemini has two cousins to find. Foomin is planted in the farm to the right as you roll up the hill into Urchin Town.

make ursa major: Columbo

Katamari Damacy REROLL. That's not a toupee, elephant.
Columbo, the Prince’s hairy cousin, can be found sitting on top of an elephant standing by the gas station. From where you start the stage, the gas station is on the opposite end of the roadway. You’ll likely have to roll up onto the elephant from the front in order to get on top and grab Columbo.

Make virgo: Ichigo

Katamari Damacy REROLL. I thought the judges would like the strawberry motif.
Ichigo, the Prince’s chubby strawberry-themed (and named) cousin, is participating in a beauty pageant. Unfortunately, she seems to have come in last place. From where you start, go to the end of the pedestrian crossing and head down the ramp. The beauty pageant is over to the left, and Ichigo is standing to the side of the winner’s podium.

Make taurus: Opeo

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Opeo is just enjoying the view. Nothing cool or funny here.
Opeo is located on the rooftop of the school. If you’ve read our guide on the Royal Presents, you should know exactly how to get up there. If you go there right at the beginning of the stage, you can grab Opeo without worrying about being big enough to grab a calf and end the stage prematurely.

Make the north star: fujio

Katamari Damacy REROLL. I don't think you're supposed to stand on greenhouses, Fujio.
Fujio is in the same place as Foomin was in Make Gemini. Fujio is chilling on the roof of a greenhouse in Urchin Town’s farm area.

Fun fact: In the original game, Fujio didn’t sport a mustache.

Make the moon: Dipp

Katamari Damacy REROLL. If you're going to be a disco ball, why hide band a winner's stand?
Dipp, the Prince’s flashy disco-looking cousin, is chilling in the schoolyard. Surrounded by giant rolling watermelons and other people. You can try to dash in between the watermelons to grab him, but it’s probably a better idea to get to 4m so you can just knock the watermelons out of your way.

Eternal 3: Ace

Katamari Damacy REROLL. Ace, seen enjoying a nice day in the park.
To access Eternal 3, you have to make a katamari at least 800m in Make the Moon. Ace is on the island in the park area outside of Seagull Park. He’s surrounded by a bunch of large algae balls rolling around the tree on the island.

Didn’t find any of the cousins in the locations you listed, but rather I’d get them just by completing the various stages for the first time. Maybe they changed it from the original PS2 title? Folks on reddit are saying the same:
