Now all you have to do is wait until each one has sent you a gift to open, then use one of your Lucky Eggs. With a Lucky Egg doubling any experience points you earn for half an hour, that’s more than enough time to open 20 gifts.
As you become Ultra Friends with the 20 friends you’ve stocked up on, you’d normally earn 100,000 experience, which will have now been doubled to 200,000 thanks to the Lucky Egg. Multiply that by 20 and you’ve just earned 4 million experience points in half an hour. Congratulations!

This is why I have like 5 different people with 1 day to go who have an unopened gift from me and won’t send me a gift. Sometimes for months in end.
I’ve started putting in the date as a nickname and giving them one week to open it before I delete them. Sure I miss out on one or two hundred thousand but I’ll get to level 40 eventually and if I can give a selfish player the equivalent of a punch on the arm, well that’s fine.
