Destiny 2: All Devilish Recording Locations in Spire of the Watcher Cover

The newest Dungeon to join the ranks of endgame PvE in Destiny 2 is the Spire of the Watcher. In this adventure, Guardians will have to make their way into a Golden Age Warmind facility to stop the Vex from stealing precious Rasputin Submind data. If you want to know how to complete this brand-new activity, you can find our Guide on all the encounters here.

Like Duality, Spire of the Watcher is hiding a few secrets, too. Namely the Devilish Recordings. Like the Bells that scattered Calus’ Nightmare in the Duality Dungeon, these Recordings are collectables that players can find that give a small line of dialogue and lore. If you manage to find all 6 Recordings you’re even awarded a Triumph as well as a permanent increase to your Dungeon Exotic drop rate. You should be able to find all the recordings before the boss encounter, too.

Here’s where to find all of the Devilish Recordings in the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon in Destiny 2.

Devilish Recording Locations

The Devilish Recordings are a number of collectables that can be found throughout the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon. They are marked by a distinct blue computer screen, emblazoned with the logo for House Salvation, the Fallen House belonging to Eramis. Interacting with said recordings will cause a voice line to play from the titular Ship-Stealer herself.

There are 6 Devilish Recordings scattered throughout the first half of the Dungeon. To acquire a Recording, simply walk up to the screen it is located on and interact with it. Once you get all 6, the Triumph should be pop.

Recording 1

The first Devilish Recording can be found as soon as you enter the Warmind Bunker. After your first encounter with the Arc Nodes and the Artrician effect, you’ll slide down into the Warmind Bunker.

Immediately after you touch the ground, turn around and look up. You’ll see a bunch of screens built into the wall. At the top-left is a small enclave that you can jump up to.

The first Devilish Recording will be waiting for you here.

After sliding into the Bunker, turn around to find Recording 1 - Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Devilish Recording

Recording 2

The next recording is a bit further ahead, just before you begin your Ascent up the Spire. After working through some vents and tunnels inside the Bunker walls, you will reach an area with six slides. Two of them are red and one of these will lead you down into a green-tinted room.

Once here, jump down between some scaffolding and metal beams. The next Devilish Recording will be on a screen underneath this area. Once you’re on that walkway, simply interact with the screen to claim the Recording.

Recording 3

The third recording can be found about halfway through the Ascent jumping puzzle. You have to jump across some massive gaps onto metal small platforms suspended from the ceiling. Eventually, you’ll come across a path where you have to make a leap of faith downwards, but from here you can see the next Recording.

To get here either glide across from one of the metal platforms or continue on the main path and turn around to find an easier access point on the back of the dividing pillar. Once you get to the other side, simply interact with the screen to get the third Recording.

Recording 4

The fourth Recording can be found at the end of this same jumping puzzle. After clambering around walkways and suspended platforms, you’ll have to fend off a few Vex Goblins and Hydras before making your way up an anti-gravity lift.

Instead, don’t go up the lift just yet. Look over the edge, to the left of the lift, and you’ll see a small depression in the wall that you can jump to. Sure enough, the next Recording is waiting in this location.

Recording 5

The next Recording is really easy to find. Continue making your way through the jumping puzzle by going up the anti-gravity lift. Next, you’ll find yourself in a glossy data centre with wooden floors and old computers. Poke around this place for a bit and you can find a path upwards.

Once you make it here, the start of the first major encounter will be signalled by the placement of a Rally Flag. When you see the location where you can plant the flag, simply turn around and the next Recording will be waiting on a screen just behind you.

Recording 6

Finally, Recording number 6 can be found just after completing the first major encounter. During the Ascent encounter, Guardians have to slowly make their way up the Spire using Anti-Gravity lifts, Arc Nodes and their jumping ability. After clearing the encounter (and claiming your loot) you will be funnelled into another data centre-like area filled with computers and machinery.

The location you have to go is through a window on an upper catwalk. Instead, be a bit nosy and look at all of the computers stained by the windows. Outlooking at the desolate red sands of Mars will be the very last Recording.

The sixth Recording can be found in the room after the first major encounter - Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher Devilish Recordings

Devilish Recording 6

With all 6 Devilish Recordings collected, you can accept the Devil is in the Details Triumph for the Wanted Seal. This will also permanently increase your chance to acquire the Exotic Bow Hierarchy of Needs.

That is where to find all of the Devilish Recordings in the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon in Destiny 2.
