This Easter egg, which can be completed with 1 to 4 players, is quite intricate. How do you obtain the Wonder Weapon Beamsmasher? How do you free Nathan? And how do you defeat the monstrous Kraken? Here’s the complete guide to the Terminus Zombies map Easter egg in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Build the Wonder Weapon Beamsmasher on Terminus
The Beamsmasher DRI-11 can, of course, be obtained from the Mystery Box for 950 Essence. However, if luck isn’t on your side (which is highly likely), here’s a guide to assembling it yourself.
The Electric Pannels of Terminus
First, you need to activate the power by turning on the three CME generators. Then, unlock the Pack-A-Punch machine, which is located underwater, and equip the HS Wire Ammo Mod on one of your weapons.
Next, use the platform in the Biological Lab and allow yourself to be lifted. Once you’re up, shoot at 5 small gray electrical boxes. You’ll know they’re activated correctly when they electrify. However, there is a specific order to follow.
- When you rise, shoot the box on your left, located inside a window.
- Then shoot the one in the middle on the wall.
- Once you reach the top, destroy the one just above the Pack-A-Punch.
- Head to the area with the Mastodon perk (Quartiers), and shoot the box to the right of it.
- The last box is located on the right as you exit, on the wall alongside the playground with the basketball hoop.
All of this must, of course, be done using the HS Wire Ammo Mod.
The Beamsmasher DRI-11 Pieces
Once the boxes are activated, the door to the research office in front of you will open. Under a cabinet, you’ll see a zombie lying on the floor; shoot it. An electromagnetic disk will appear—pick it up.
Now, head over to the Sea Tower, and to the right of the perk, you’ll find a briefcase held by a strange, severed hand… Open it to retrieve a Multiphasic Resonator. Be careful—when you turn around, a horde of spiders will spawn to attack you. After clearing the pests, go to the center of the research office and place the piece on the inverter, which almost looks like an old Minitel.
Next, you need to activate three laptops:
- The first one is located to the right as you exit the Quick Revive area.
- The second one is on the opposite side. Cross back over the Pack-A-Punch bridge and go up the stairs on your left.
- The third one is just outside the tunnel near the docks, right before the Sea Tower.
The Code of the Research Office Computer
Next, return to the computer in the research office. You will need to enter a three-digit code.
You have two options: Either give 5000 points to Peck, and he will display the code on the computer near him, or, if you’re feeling frugal, perform a calculation. For this, you’ll need to use the three sticky notes placed on the computer, noting the symbol and the letter on each one, then go observe the board in the back left corner of the room. The calculation is quite tedious, so we recommend being generous and giving the 5000 points to Peck. Once the secret code is correctly entered, a glowing piece will appear above the computer screen.
The Orbs on Bo6
Take the piece, board your boat, and head towards the island where you see a blue glow in the distance. Now, interact with the blue energy sphere—you won’t miss it. Place the piece you obtained earlier underneath it. The orb will then shoot at a zombie; kill it and collect the small energy ball it leaves behind upon its death. Place the ball under the large sphere. Repeat this process as many times as needed until the orb flies off to another island.
Don’t forget to pick up the piece that was under the energy ball. The sphere will turn green this time. You will need to repeat the same process, waiting for it to move for the third time. This time, the orb will turn purple. As you’ve probably guessed, you’ll need to repeat the process once again.
Finally, you can build the long-awaited Beamsmasher by returning to the back right corner of the research office. This Wonder Weapon fires an electric beam that blinds and weakens the zombies, making them more vulnerable to all types of damage. Even better, if you manage to fully charge the weapon and empty the magazine, zombies within a large radius will fall, taking some damage as well.
The Beginning of the Terminus Secret in Call of Duty Black Ops 6
Once you have the Beamsmasher in hand after your island adventure, you need to find a hard drive. It can be found under one of the three traps used to block the tentacles.
The locations of the traps are as follows:
- In the Biological Lab
- In the Quartiers
- Near the spawn area close to Peck
Look on the ground under one of these traps. If you spot an employee access card lying on the floor, that’s the correct trap. Activate the trap beneath which the card is located, and shoot the horrible mouth of the monster with the Beamsmasher to make the hard drive drop. Pick it up and take it to Peck at the spawn area. You’ll need to place it in the small locker located in front of the guard post.
Nathan in Bo6
An emotional dialogue will explain that Nathan, Maya’s brother, is trapped inside a large incubator located in the Biological Lab. You need to go there to speak to Nathan. You’ll see his head through a small porthole in the middle of the tank. Unfortunately, to release him, you’ll need a three-digit code. Again.
- The first digit can be found on the clock in the interrogation room behind bars. It’s indicated by the hour hand.
- The second digit is on a game card in the cafeteria, on the board to the right of the exit leading to the playground.
- The third digit is inside the engineering workshop, on a panel that tracks the number of days without an incident.
These numbers are, of course, random and will be different in each of your playthroughs.
Now, prepare your gear, because you’ll be facing… Nathan. For this part of the Terminus secret, we highly recommend being well-equipped and playing through several rounds before challenging him. You’ll need to turn a valve (or multiple if you’re playing in a team). Once activated, Nathan, furious and suffering, will emerge from his tank, accompanied by a horde of zombies. This boss, a grotesque amalgamation, has a massive amount of health and can even regenerate by consuming other zombies. This forces you to deal continuous damage to him.
After defeating the horrific creature, jump into the water and grab the magnetic card, which is essential for continuing the secret.
Node Connectors in Call of Duty Black ops 6
Now, take your boat and head toward the large stranded cargo ship. Pass underneath through the hole and climb up a ladder. The hatch will open, and you’ll be able to grab two connectors placed on a table. Be careful, though—when you pick up a connector, the hatch will temporarily close, trapping you in this very small room, with zombies. Several waves of zombies will follow, so make sure you’re properly equipped to handle the onslaught.
There several possible locations to place the connectors:
Under the Sea Tower, in the Marine Caves Tunnel near Speed Cola, or on the Large Crab Island South of the Map, right in front of the Workbench.
Hacking the Satellites
Once the two connectors are installed, you’ll need to retrieve a hacking device from Peck, who is still comfortably stationed at his guard post. This device will allow you to hack three satellites placed on buoys around the island. Once you hack the first satellite, you’ll have only two minutes to hack the others. Naturally, as you get closer to the satellites, parasites will spawn.
The locations of the satellites are as follows:
- One is located between the wreck and the large island.
- A second one is just to the right of the island, near the top left of the map.
- The last one is slightly above the large island, towards the top right.
Disarming the Bombs in Bo6
Once you have hacked the last antenna, you’ll need to be very quick and go to the BioLab, as you only have five minutes to disarm three bombs. If you don’t disarm the bombs in time, the game will end, and you won’t be able to complete the secret of the Terminus map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Locations of the three bombs:
- First bomb: At the bottom of the workbench in the BioLab area.
- Second bomb: Underneath the small room with the mystery box.
- Third bomb: Just at the bottom of the stairs, near the ammunition.
Be careful! Amalgams or Massacreurs may spawn depending on the round.
The Boss of Terminus in Black Ops 6
Once the three bombs are disarmed, you can begin the boss fight even if your hands are still sweaty. Again, before facing the boss, take the time to equip yourself with the essential perks and upgrade your weapons. Don’t hesitate to complete challenges to earn Essence. We recommend, for example, choosing the iconic Mustang & Sally and using the HS cable mod, which is one of the boss’s weaknesses. Also, upgrade your weapons to Pack-a-Punch level 3 and make sure you have self-revive or mutant injections.
When you’re finally ready, head back to the lab, go downstairs to the spot where you can board the boat. You will then see a white door slightly ajar with a green light above. This is how you will initiate the final boss fight against Patient-13.
Upon entering the arena, a gigantic Kraken appears. The fight takes place in three phases, bringing an end to this guide for the Terminus map secret in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies.
During the first phase, the Kraken strikes the ground in front of him. To protect yourself, you can take cover behind the crates located at the corners of the platform; he won’t hit you there. Additionally, he can summon tentacles behind him that release poison onto the arena. You can use his weak points to damage him little by little by shooting the red pustules that occasionally appear on his shoulders. Avoid shooting the zombies to conserve ammunition and focus on the Kraken.
Once you’ve removed the first third of its health, the monster will summon Massacreurs and zombies to give it a brief moment to recover. Eliminate all of them so the second phase can begin. This time, its biggest weak point will be its mouth, and you can deal a lot of damage there. Dodge the tentacle strikes and toxic gas, hide behind the crates, and continue shooting.
Once its health reaches two-thirds, the Kraken will retreat underwater again. Zombies, including Amalgams, will spawn. After eliminating the waves of enemies, the boss will return. It seems like he’s been practicing his offensive moves during his underwater break, as he now has a devastating new attack — a charge that can one-shot you. To avoid it, once again, rush behind the crates at the corners of the room or take cover behind the yellow barrels. You can also go into the water to dodge the charge. He will also block off half of the platform, and you won’t be able to pass behind him anymore. His weak points change again, and you’ll now need to target his eyes.
After many long minutes and probably a headache, you will finally have killed Patient-13. Once he sinks to the bottom of the abyss, you can choose to end the game or continue.
If you continue, you will receive great rewards such as Ether Crystals or Miracle Weapons. It will also be possible, for the bravest among you, to face this boss again at round 50. Of course, the difficulty will be much higher. However, this will allow you to unlock a special calling card.
