To create new units for your faction, execute the create_unit [settlement] [unit ID] cheat command. You’ll need to replace [settlement] and [unit ID] in that command with the name of one of your cities to create the unit and an ID for it. This Medieval 2 unit list page includes all the IDs needed for this command.

This Total War: Medieval 2 cheat surrenders all a faction’s settlements to rebels. So, it effectively eliminates a faction by converting all its cities to rebel-held settlements. Then you can attack the new rebel settlements without the Pope whining at you, as he would when fighting Catholic factions.
To activate this Total War: Medieval 2 cheat, input the surrender_regions [faction name] command. For example, entering surrender_regions England into the command console will turn all English settlements into rebel ones.
