The latest title in the franchise, Halo Infinite, had its free-to-play multiplayer mode released just this week, on November 15th. Its standalone campaign is planned for release on December 8th, but hey, maybe that will come out early, too! It will mark the first sequel title in the Halo franchise since 2015, serving as a continuation to the events of Halo 5: Guardians. Infinite is also the first game in the franchise to release its solo campaign and multiplayer modes into separate purchases.
