In Japan, the promotional poster for Spider-Man: Homecoming wasn't received so well. In fact, it was taken as somewhat of a joke, with internet users flexing their photo editing skills to hilarious result – at the expense of Marvel, of course.
Seeing as how their big budget movie became the nation's latest meme, the comic book giant decided that it needed to counteract this somehow. What did it come up with? The hiring of One-Punch Man's illustrator to create a new poster for the movie.
Found below, Yusuke Murata's creation features Vulture and Spider-Man duking it out in the sky while Iron Man follows in pursuit. It's a great representation of the actual movie, if you ask me, and nothing short of badass.
