Aniplex of America has announced today via press release that a 10th anniversary event for anime classic Gurren Lagann will be held at this year's Otakon in Washington D.C. on August 12.
Aside from an episode screening decided on by fans via an online survey, the panel will also feature English dub cast members Kyle Hebert (voice of Kamina), Michelle Ruff (voice of Yoko), and Tony Oliver, who served as English ADR Director and script writer for the series.
Fans can expect exclusive giveaways at the event as well.
Gurren Lagann originally aired on April 1, 2017 and has since grown a massive cult following from otaku and casual anime connoisseurs alike. A complete Blu-ray disc box – including all 27 episodes of the TV series and both feature length movies – will be available on August 8th.
Otakon 2017 will be held from August 11 to August 13 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C.
