Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion celebrates its 10 year anniversary this year, and the staff behind the classic anime are celebrating in a big way.
A special 10th anniversary website has gone live detailing an event at the Maihama Amphitheatre in Chiba, Japan this November 27, marking the exact date the series first aired a decade ago. Named "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Anniversary of a Miracle", this will be the first of many celebrations being held for the cult classic in 2016.
The show premiered in 2006 and was followed up by Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 two years later. Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland and the more recent Code Geass: Akito the Exiled were original video anime designed as spin-offs of the main series.
