The Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Prologue OVA will be premiering at Anime Expo in just over a week from today on July 1st at 4 PM, Kodansha Comics announced recently via press release. The producer of the anime, Chiyo Kawazoe, will be in attendance and will hold a Q&A session.
In conjunction with the news, the film's website has put up a promo video featuring Junko Iwao’s new song “The Promised Sky." It can be found below:
Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc Prologue: Sakura and the Two Bears will take place after the original series left off, with everything going back to normal, albeit briefly.
Based on the newest work from CLAMP and animated by Madhouse, the same studio who created the original TV series, this film has no shortage of hype surrounding it, to say the very least.
