After a month stacked with amazing game releases like February, it is time for another adrenaline rush.

March is right around the corner, and it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to major game releases. Let’s check out this selection of great games!

GTA V

The seventh main entry of one of the biggest series in gaming history finally arrives for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, on March 15. Alongside the story mode, GTA Online also arrives on the consoles.

The next-generation version of Grand Theft Auto V will feature multiple technical improvements, such as visual upgrades and performance enhancements, taking full advantage of the next-gen hardware.

Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S – Coming March 2022

It would be a crime if I didn’t include this masterpiece that defined a generation in this selection. In my opinion, GTA V is by far one of the best gaming experiences of its generation, ranking high in my top games of all-time list. The Grand Theft Auto franchise is simply one of the best in gaming history.

GTA V puts together brilliant storytelling with flawless visuals and gameplay, creating one of the most remarkable achievements of the industry. This next-generation version of the game is guaranteed to improve on what’s already great, despite being almost impossible to do so. And for that, I chose to include the next-gen version of GTA V in this selection of major game releases coming in March 2022.

Gran Turismo 7

The eighth mainline installment in the Gran Turismo series is coming to the PlayStation 4 and 5 on March 4.

Gran Turismo 7 marks the return of some traditional racing tracks and vehicles, Special Events, Championships, and Driving School. Making a comeback from previous entries, the dynamic weather system will affect all aspects of the game. Featuring a single-player campaign, Gran Turismo 7 also includes an Arcade mode, fully playable offline.

If you’re a fan of racing simulators, like me, then the announcement of Gran Turismo 7 was an absolute joy. If the success and magnitude of Gran Turismo 6 is any indicator, then we really are in for a treat when it comes to Gran Turismo 7. GT 6 was a breathtaking experience, that elevated every aspect of racing to a whole new level. In my opinion, every little detail of that game truly defined a genre that had been missing passion and energy.

Here’s hoping that GT 7 continues that trend, elevating, even more, the already unmatched quality of the Gran Turismo series, in all its glory.

Beholder 3

Scheduled to release on March 3, Beholder 3 is the third entry in the Beholder series.

The adventure series is set in a totalitarian police state, where a citizen who just got out of prison is selected to become a spy. The player has to eliminate anyone standing in the way of the State’s secret plans, whilst profiling every person that can be a threat to the authority of the State.

Although considered a wildcard, Beholder 3 is still a safe bet when it comes to a possible amazing release. If the game continues the trend of its predecessors, especially Beholder 2, then we will be in for a treat.

The dystopian RPG is full of hard choices, that paired up with the highly fascinating gameplay, create an incredibly entertaining experience. In my opinion, the huge variety of options and endings makes for a fully customizable experience that every RPG fan should check out. For that reason, I chose to include Beholder 3 in this list of major game releases coming in March 2022.

WWE 2K22

After a 2-year hiatus, the WWE franchise is back for another run, with WWE 2K22 releasing March 11.

WWE 2K22 includes a revamped edition of the classic modes like MyCareer, now renamed MyRISE, and the 2K Showcase. The game will introduce a new game mode, MyFACTION, where players will be able to build a wrestling stable by collecting and managing WWE Superstars.

WWE 2K22. It Hits Different. (Official Announce Trailer)

Let’s be honest, everyone loves WWE. Watching those superstars battle it out in the ring is amazing. So when I heard WWE 2K22 was in development, I couldn’t be more excited. After an underwhelming WWE 2K20, the developers really took their time to rethink the approach to this great franchise.

By the looks of the new trailers and gameplay released to the public, I believe it’s fair to say that the developer team nailed it. Personally, the improvements on the MyCareer mode look incredible, and I sincerely hope that the 2022 version lives up to the expectations.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut

Last but not least, we’ve got Death Stranding Director’s Cut, releasing for PC on March 30.

The Director’s Cut version of the highly acclaimed game arrives on PC, and it brings multiple new features. From new graphic options to new combat abilities, Director’s Cut is a great option, even for the game’s veterans.

From the genius mind of Hideo Kojima, the success of Death Stranding speaks for itself. And if that wasn’t enough, we now get an improved version of what’s already excellent.

For new players and veterans alike, there is no better time to fully immerse yourselves in the fantastic experience that is Death Stranding than right now, with the Director’s Cut version. The improvements it brings when compared to the already great standard version are small but meaningful, making for one of the best gaming experiences out there. Death Stranding Director’s Cut makes for a perfect ending in this selection of major game releases coming in March 2022.

And just like that, we’ve covered some of March’s biggest releases. Now it’s time for us to patiently wait for these major game releases.
