Another entrant to the biggest horror movies releasing this September also brings the religious themed gothic horror. Deliver Us takes us to a remote convent, where a nun has fallen pregnant. The Vatican sends a team of priests to investigate this apparent miracle. There is ancient prophecy that claims that such an event heralds the birth of twins. One being the Messiah, the other, the Anti-Christ. It’s a creepy inversion of the birth of Christ, and an interesting take as the priests must struggle with whether to abort the children.
