Welsh actor, Taron Egerton will return for the role of Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin, with Channing Tatum, Colin Firth, Halle Berry, and Jeff Bridges all expected to return. With this, the studio has been looking for a new actor to play the role of Conrad, who will supposedly fill the role of Merlin after his death in the second film. Furthermore, there is also a space for an older lead male, and while nothing has been confirmed Ralph Fiennes appears to be the favorite. As well as the Kingsman franchise, director Vaughn has plans to work on an eight-hour TV series, which is expected to focus on the American Statesman group, that was first introduced in the Golden Circle.
The sequel to the first film was a massive box office success raking in approximately $410 million dollars worldwide, with the third installment likely to follow suit. Kingsman 3 is due to be released on November 8th2019.
