Get ready to head back into Metro Exodus as 4A Games will be releasing a slew of free content this week in what's called the Ranger Update. Clocking in at 6GB, the patch will include New Game Plus, Developer Commentary, improved controls, and fixes for various bugs and glitches. That's a lot to take in.
New Game Plus will allow players to replay the story of Metro Exodus with all their upgraded gear, and will allow you to customize your playstyle. Some of these options include having tougher enemies, real-time day/night cycle, limiting the number of weapons you can hold, only being able to craft at work benches, and much more. Along with this, new collectible items called Green Tape Players will become available. These tapes will have members of 4A Games' development team discussing the various creative choices made in the game.
Lastly, the update will include a new controller sensitivity preset, mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One users, and much more. You can read the full patch notes right here.
Metro Exodus was released on February 15th of this year. For what we thought of Metro Exodus, check out our review.
