Multiple Sniper Elite games announced

Rebellion, the studio behind the Sniper Elite series, has announced that 4 Sniper Elite games are on their way. Revealed in a Live stream by the developer/publisher's CEO Jason Kingsley, the games are in varying stages of development. The games include Sniper Elite V2 remastered, Sniper Elite 3 for the Nintendo Switch, a Sniper Elite VR title and Sniper Elite 5.

First released back in 2012 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, Sniper Elite V2 will now be ported over to current gen consoles. This version will contain all the games DLC and improved graphics that will have 4K Resolution and support HDR. It will also feature new playable characters, a photo mode, and expanded multiplayer. No release date was given, but it is set for release later this year.

Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch will include all of the content that was in the original game, as well as local multiplayer support and new motion controls. Like with Sniper Elite V2, this version of Sniper Elite 3 is set for release late this year. Sniper Elite VR does not have a release date, but will be released this calendar year.

Finally, Sniper Elite 5 was announced and we will be getting more details about it in 2020. No release window or release date has been announced.
