Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to get Halo: Reach added to its collection of Halo titles and will also be slowly rolling out on PC starting this year.
No news on release dates for the recently rumored PC release, but the entirety of Halo: Reach, including campaign, multiplayer, and Firefight will be coming to the collection as a paid addition for owners of The Master Chief Collection. Xbox Game Pass members will automatically have access to the additional content, however.
The PC release of The Master Chief Collection is set to be staggered instead of releasing the entire collection at once, starting with the first one chronologically: Reach. Reach will launch on PC with all modes included, and Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 will follow, with players able to purchase each game as it releases on the collection.
There has been no word on how much each game will cost to unlock. The collection will be available on both the Microsoft Store and Steam.
The plan is to give PC gamers all the options they would expect in any AAA PC release, including support for different screen sizes including ultra-wides, and a field-of-view slider.
