March Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus games announced

Microsoft and PlayStation have both announced their lineup of titles that will be free to download for their online members next month. To take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to have an active Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership. There’s still time to pick up February’s games if you haven’t yet!

Coming to Microsoft’s Games with Gold program beginning March 1 is Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion for Xbox One, and Star Wars: Republic Commando for the original Xbox (and is backwards compatible on Xbox One). Republic Commando will only be available to claim until March 15, but Adventure Time will be available for all of March.

Coming later in the month for Xbox Live Gold members is Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 for Xbox One, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which will both be available to claim from March 16 through the end of the month.

On Sony’s console, PlayStation Plus members will be getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness in March. Both titles will be available to claim starting March 5.

There’s still time to claim February’s free titles as well. February’s Games with Gold features Super Bomberman R, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. PlayStation Plus members have until March 4 to pick up Hitman and For Honor.
