A surprise announcement from Nintendo today has many fans eagerly awaiting the next Direct event which is scheudled for February 27, 2019. Titled specifically as a Pokémon Direct event, many are anticipating some much-needed news regarding the next installment of the core Pokémon RPG series which is set to release this year.
While there's been no official confirmation of what the Pokémon-concentrated broadcast will include, it's almost certain we'll be hearing more about the upcoming generation eight Pokémon game(s).
Hosted by Nintendo, the new Direct will air on February 27 at 6:00 am PST/9:00 am EST. The event is noted as being "roughly 7 minutes of new information" which further leads us to believe we'll be learning more on the next-gen Pokemon Switch title.
