Final Fantasy XII see’s new features on Switch and Xbox One

Last year, Square Enix announced that various Final Fantasy games would be coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. This morning saw the company release new footage for the upcoming version of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Along with the game running at 1080p, Switch and Xbox owners will be able to use features not found in the PS4 version of The Zodiac Age.

These features include the means to reset and reassign jobs to characters, swapping between three gambit sets(rather than one as in past versions), and the ability to carry your progress over in New Game+.  Additionally, if you have Xbox One X, you'll be able to run the game at 60fps. It's currently unknown if the PS4 or PC versions of the Zodiac Age will receive any of these features. You can check out all of the games new features in the video below:

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is scheduled to hit Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on April 30th, 2019 at $49.99. The Zodiac Age was initially released on July 11th, 2017 on PS4.
