You probably know the story of P.T. A mysterious horror game that saw players walk through the same corridor over and over again. Small things change, weird noises and a mysterious figure tormenting you everytime you pass through it. Then it turned out P.T was a demo for a brand new Silent Hill game being made by Metal Gear's Hideo Kojima and acclaimed director Guillermo Del Toro, starring Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus.
On paper, it sounded like an incredible mix of talent. Unfortunately, problems behind the scenes between Kojima and Konami saw the game ultimately end up getting canceled. It's something I'm still sad about. None-the-less, P.T built up a cult following for its unique and terrifying concept. Sadly Konami has tried to nuke it from existence, removing it from the PlayStation Store. Recently it's been rumored that they pushed out an update to prevent people who still have it installed from even launching it on PlayStation consoles.
Have no fear, at least for a bit anyway. Artur Łączkowski has released his own remake which, at the time of writing this article you can still download from the link below. So if you haven't had a chance yet, you should jump on this quickly because Konami is most likely already making plans to take it down.
