Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey has gone gold

Ubisoft confirmed that the development of Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is finally over. The game has gone gold and it will be successfully released in early October.

If you are keeping eye on the newest instalment of Assassin’s Creed series, we have some good news. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey achieved the gold status which means that the game’s master disc is ready to go into the production of retail copies.
That also means there will be no delays and the game will be released as it was planned by Ubisoft – on October 5.
Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In addition, Ubisoft mentioned the release of the Nintendo Switch version. However, there are no plans to ship it in a physical form but to make it available via streaming technology, only in Japan.
The newest Assassin’s Creed game will take the players to ancient Greece giving again an opportunity to play as a male and female protagonist. The last time it was possible was in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.
The developers wanted also to enrich the story by implementing a system of choices and consequences. The latest trailer gives a short glimpse of that idea and you can check it  out below:
