FROM SOFTWARE are back with a brand-new title, unlike anything they've created previously. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an all new action-adventure game starring a samurai who must save his kidnapped lord. The gameplay is just as brutal and engaging as one would expect from a FROM SOFTWARE title of course.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Wows The Crowd At E3 2018
FROM SOFTWARE known for their brutal and challenging Dark Souls and Bloodborne games are back with an all-new title known as Sekiro: Shadows Die TwiceIn it, the player takes on the role of a warrior in service to a 10-year-old lord who is kidnapped by an enemy only known now as The Rival. In trying to save the child the main character has his arm cut off and is beaten. He is saved by a mysterious man who replaces his arm with a prosthetic ninja attachment to help him on his journey of vengeance against his enemies.

Gameplay utilizes sword combat alongside different tools that spawn from this newly acquired arm. The tools range from a large metal hat used to deflect blows and also a cache of fireworks to disrupt your enemies so you might strike a fatal blow. It can even become a grappling hook to help the player reach new areas.

The gameplay looks to be as fast-paced and brutal as past FROM SOFTWARE titles but with the added touch of different ninja tools to break things up. There is also the inclusion of a new death mechanic that allows players to resurrect after defeat to take their enemies by surprise. This adds into the ninja aesthetic the developers are going for with this title. Gone are the days of being reset to the last checkpoint and being robbed of previous experience points similarly to the Dark Souls and Bloodborne games. No release date has been given other than early 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
